And speaking of MxO...

So here's the situation: There are four of us on a mission, and our current objective is to get into a building, find a particular server, and power it on. Long story short, the Machines could legitimately claim that opposing us in this mission is a defensive action, and hence allowable within the treaty, so we're being pursued by Agents the whole time (see previous post).

There are three of them guarding the entrance to the building. Somehow I managed to slip past them, but my cohorts kept getting gunned down. I took the elevator to the floor in question (the "mission area") and got the server up.

However, experience points for this leg of the mission are awarded as soon as the last team member leaves the mission area. I'm the only one who'd made it into the building, so if I leave the mission area then no XP for anyone else. Hardly ideal.

So I'm waiting, as the rest of the team makes futile effort after futile effort to get into the building. They can almost make it before the Agents take 'em out, and I realize that I can look out the window and see what's happening in the street below. I can also hear what's being said as a couple of random players wander by and see what's happening. (The other players aren't part of the mission, so the Agents are ignoring them.)

Stranger 1: "Wow. Are those Agents?"
Nibori (whose dead body is laying on the ground half in the doorway): "Yeah. We're on a mission."
Stranger 2: "Boy, they must be really pissed at you."
Nibori: "Yeah. Can you resurrect me?"
Stranger 2: "I don't know if I should."
Me (shouting from the upstairs window): "Don't do it! He stole their car! That's why they shot him! He'll steal your car too!"

Okay, I guess you had to be there. It was funny at the time. I promise.
