Ill Omens
Freakin' roller coaster, I tell 'ya, and not in a good way.
I talked with Ryan today. He had two pieces of information for me- neither one good.
1) He got a call from the hospital. They refused to tell him the results of his biopsy beyond "they found something". They didn't want to give him any additional information over the phone, and want to do it in a situation where they can answer any additional questions he may have and discuss options. He said he tried getting belligerent with them, and I can't blame him. They were resolute though, and I probably can't blame them either. So the pendulum swings back over to the "worried" side.
2) His uncle died last night after heart surgery. :-( Surprisingly (to me, anyway) it's the first time he's ever had a family member die. He's understandably shaken. He said that his mom is just a wreck.
Tomorrow he re-admits himself to the hospital at 10:30, and should get the full scoop sometime shortly thereafter. As before, as soon as I hear anything, I'll post it here.
*crosses fingers*
