My Indian name is "Dances With Serifs"

My honest opinion? If you're a typographer, and you make a font wherein one cannot easily differentiate between an upper case "I", a lower case "l", and the numeral "1" at a size of 10 pt., you should do jail time for this crime. Also, you owe the entire internet a beer.

Call me a radical, but sometimes you just have to take a stand.

There is also pedagogical value in distinguishing letters. When I first started teaching full time, I realized that my students could not distinguish between the abbreviation for time "t" and addition "+" so I started deliberately elongating the vertical line in "t" and even adding the serif deliberate. This spring my students made it clear to me I need to better distinguish density / Greek lowercase rho "ρ" and pressure / uppercase "P", so now I'm trying to write the former with the tail at the bottom curling left instead of right.

I like the icon too. I chewed out my father for violating my pet peeve the other day, "effect" vs. "affect".
