I exist in minds that don't.

Right now I'm reading a draft of a book in which two fictional characters are having a conversation about me. Not metaphorically, mind you. They're not discussing some other fictional character who is a lot like me. They're talking about me. Specifically. By name.

Two people (who don't exist) are having a conversation about me (who, when last I checked, does exist). Some small part of my brain just went *kapow*. :-)

In other news, we're going to Frolicon tomorrow, and DDR is the best thing ever that doesn't (necessarily) involve nudity or robots.

Okay, I'm clearly delirious from exhaustion, so I'm going to bed now.

Imagine nude robots doing DDR...

BTW - Have you heard about Dance Dance Immolation?

It is just like DDR, except when you make a mistake, a flame thrower fires into your face. Which makes it hard to see the screen, and thus more likely that you will continue to make even more mistakes, triggering more fire, until you freak out and hit the big red panic button to avoid melting.

You do get to wear a fire suit with an air supply while you play, but I understand it still gets terrifyingly hot.

It is hilariously fun to watch two people in big silver fire suits with air hoses getting blasted in the face with a flame thrower while trying to dance.

I hope DDI is at Burning Man again this year - I think I might actually like to give it a shot one of these years... *grin*

Amazingly, I have heard about DDI!! I read an article about it a while back. I'd *love* to actually see it being done. If they do show up at BM this year be sure to get pix and vid!

Sadly, it would be near suicide for me to attempt to play. I have enough issues with heat dissipation playing regular DDR.

If you want video, just ask the omniscient Google. Google knows all.
