4 promotional posters for The Sarah Connor Chronicles. They're hot. They're damn hot. They're work-safe (except for maybe #3), but make no mistake- this is Datan0de porn. These posters were made for a target audience of one. Me.
Lena Headey as Sarah is smokin', especially with a shotgun. If you know me or
femetal IRL you already know that I have a thing for tough women with shotguns. But Summer... oh my. I've always thought that Summer Glau is extraordinarily attractive, but with a little (or a lot) of endoskeleton showing... words truly fail me.
Is it wrong that I find poster #3 sexually arousing? Cyborg pr0n FTW! :-)
The folks at FOX (In Whedon's name we curse them!) have released Lena Headey as Sarah is smokin', especially with a shotgun. If you know me or

I'm going to be somewhat cryptic here because I don't want to give away any spoilers. There was one spot in particular where they play fast and loose with Terminator canon and basic logic more than I would've liked, but even then it's far and away better than T3 (which, while I liked the movie overall, had far too many "WTF were they thinking?" moments). Additionally, I'm willing to grant them a one-time "WTF pass", since it was clearly necessary in order to move the story in the direction they're taking it, and it'll allow them to sidestep many potential continuity problems later on. Time travel stories, especially multi-part stories, are prone to a lot of causality issues and I freely admit that my beloved Terminator saga is no exception.
Oh, there's one other thing that The Sarah Connor Chronicles has going for it. In my experience there is a 100% correlation between TV shows featuring Summer Glau nude in the first episode (even if it is obscured, fuzzy, and in the distance) and that program becoming my favorite TV show of all time. Hopefully the trend will continue. ;-)
Am I seeing things?
WTF? Not quite what I remember.. something about leukemia?
Then again - we do live in a world that wholeheartedly accepts alternate realities and parallel universes (can you say Star Trek: Enterprise? lol)
It will be interesting to see what they come up with.
Lena Heady is playing Sarah Connor (poster #2), and while she's not Linda Hamilton she still seems to do an acceptable job. Plus, of course, she looks good in a tank top with a shotgun. :-)
Linda Hamilton was in good shape in The Terminator, and in fantastic shape in T2- strong, but not muscle-bound.
The Sarah Connor Chronicles is the only thing I recall seeing Lena Heady in so I can't comment on any previous work, but she looks good in TSCC and in the poster she's in.
Summer Glau is the epitome of "lithe". She started out as a dancer, and from what I hear a damn good one. She switched over to acting but has kept her dancer's body ever since, in both Firefly and Serenity, and now in TSCC. If anything she's a bit too thin, but I'm definitely not complaining.
Maybe you're confusing Summer with Jewel Staite, who played Kaylee? She deliberately put on weight for the role originally, but by the time Serenity started filming she'd returned to her original weight (she was actually concerned that they'd re-cast the part). Personally, I think that she's much hotter with the extra weight, and would put her on par with Summer. Well, on par with non-endoskeletal Summer, anyway. Cyborg chicks FTW!
Regardless, there isn't a single one of them that I wouldn't take great delight in sharing with
And I'm afraid I disagree with dubbing Summer Glau "lithe". To me "lithe" is similar to "thin," or "slender," implying underweight (though with the presence of muscles that "thin" and "slender" don't imply). I don't feel Glau is is underweight, so I'd call her "athletically fit" or "toned" instead. I'm not saying she's not hot, though, I'm nitpicking the precise type of hot she is. ;)
