133T H4><0RZZZ!!! (and a squirrel!)

This is from last year, but I'm culling browser tabs and wanted to share a laugh with you all. File this under "This is what happens when everything you know about computers you learned from watching movies"

A congressional aide tried to get his college GPA "hacked". He contacted attrition.org to try to hire someone to do the job. The Attrition guys decided to play along, and hilarity ensued. Of course, they posted the entire e-mail thread.

I ask you, what's the greater crime? Breaking into a university computer system to change your GPA, or believing that things like Hackers and Uplink accurately reflect how computer security works? :-)
