How freaking cool is this?!?

http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=2&t=22333&newsid=0

Okay, I know none of you actually click links I post ;-), so here's the short form: Yesterday's daily summary that was sent to the ISS included Mal's "love keeps her in the air" quote from the end of Serenity.

Does it get any shinier than that? I think not.

I read most of your links too. :)

For instance, I read this one, and it made me wonder which of us (me or them) got the quote wrong. I don't have a script, so I can't vouch for this with any authenticity, but in the article they say that "Love… tells ya she's hurtin' before she keels…" and I am almost certain he actually says "keens" not keels.

That would be the difference between letting out a cry of pain or falling over, so either word works, but keen seemed to be more of a Joss word.

Does anyone know for sure? I'll have to watch it with the captions on when I get home I guess.

I think you're right, though I'll have to double check to be sure. Oh gee darn, I guess that means I'll have to watch Serenity again... :-)

Yes.

When you are on the space station when they send the quote.
