Tax dollars at work!

The last couple of weeks have been a near-constant adventure, and I've been negligent in not posting. It's been a blur of clubbing, bad movies, a work trip, visiting friends, doing video game battle alongside fellow immortalists, more movies, more parties, more friends, and a marvelous science-geeky field trip that literally brought tears to my eyes.

One thing happened today that can't go unmentioned, however. Today I touched a moon rock with my own fingers.

A rock.

From the moon.

I touched it!

It was collected by Jack Schmitt on Apollo 17 in December, 1972. *SQUEE!!!*

You are sooo easily amused...

I guess that is one of the things I love about you...:)

Well, I certainly can't argue with that, but I don't really agree that it applies to this situation. Mankind has dreamt of touching the moon for countless millennia, and now I have in a very real and tangible way.

Don't be a buzzkill, man! :-P
