And another thing...

Am I the only person who has nightmares about decompression? Not a pleasant way to start one's day (though admittedly only mildly more disquieting than the alarm clock).

Yes. You are the only one who has nightmares about decompression. Me? Its the slimedemons eating their way through the hull and after my brain that gets me.

Well, for what it's worth you can take some small measure of satisfaction in knowing that I suddenly don't feel quite so bad about dying in the cold vacuum of space.

Did this nightmare by any chance start with someone trying to heat up a kung pao tofu wrap in the ship's microwave, thereby starting a chain reaction which caused the tofu wrap to melt through the microwave, the galley floor and ultimately the ship's hull?!

I have also had dreams/nightmares of decompression... But mine have been here on Earth....

....Must have been my experiences at the Hyperbaric Chamber training program I took at Shands.

Decompression was a good thing... (At least slow decompression was...)

Financially, I had always hoped I would be stuck in a "Saturated Dive"... 72 hours on the clock... In college in the 80's, this was like a months pay in a single "dive".
